part of celebration of 25 Years of Excellence, Post Graduate Department of
Chemistry and Research Center had organized a Fire Extinguisher Demonstration on 28th October, 2015 at
1:00 pm.
All teaching, non-teaching staff and many students from different departments of our college had attended the demonstration. The demonstrator, Mr. Ayaz Sayed explained various important and noteworthy points regarding the fire safety and use of fire extinguishers.

Fire fighting equipment plays a very important role in ensuring safety at homes, offices, factories, and public places. Many people still think that fire safety is only about keeping a traditional extinguisher, but today there are multiple advanced solutions available that make protection much easier and faster.

These balls can activate on their own when they come in contact with fire, which is extremely useful in areas where people are not present all the time, such as electrical rooms or storage spaces.
At the same time, a good quality fire extinguisher cylinder is still a must-have for every building. Cylinders are effective for handling different types of fires, including electrical and chemical fires, when used properly by trained staff.
