One day seminar on
“Industry-Academia Linkage”

One
day seminar on “Industry-Academia Linkage” was organised by the department of
chemistry, Abeda Inamdar senior college, Pune on 12th
September 2017.The seminar started at 10.30am and lasted up to
4.20pm. The guest speaker was Mr. Shrikant, who is very renowned person in
industry sector. He has got a very good position as a guest lecturer. The main
motto of this seminar was to aware everyone about the importance of Green
Chemistry. The whole lecture was related to multidimensional knowledge, mostly
about Industry sector and academic too. The seminar lasts for about 5 hours and
those hours were very crucial and beneficial. Although he was old but his voice
and art won everyone’s heart in audience. The main theme of his lecture was
based on to save environment from selfish world. He correlated his topic with
the Gandhian Philosophy, Simple living and high thinking. During the seminar,
he asked many questions to the students. Students loved the scene as it was
very interactive. Lunch break was given to the students at 12.30 to 1.30 pm. Sharp at 1.30 pm, students assembled once
again with great charm. After lunch break,
Mr Shrikant sir once more continued with the industrial products. He inspired
many students regarding industry and its scope. While explaining the things
using slides, Sir also took advantage of green board for explaining the things
in depth. Finally there was a question answer session, which everyone enjoyed
the most. On his concluding lines, he highlighted everything regarding
environment and green chemistry.
